Testimony: Stomach Metaplasia and H. Pylori Bacteria

Ms Y's mother was 73 years old. She is generally healthy. She does qi gong exercise everyday. Sometime late 2016, she complained of a dull ache in her stomach. In early Dec 2016, the doctor in Sg Buloh hospital advised her to go for an operation for a condition called stomach metaplasia and the doctor proposed a procedure called a distal gastrectomy. Stomach metaplasia is mutated cells with a 30-40% risk of the cells turning cancerous. She was also diagnosed as having H. Pylori bacteria and was put on antibiotics.

She had another appointment with the doctor on 6 Dec 2016. The doctor said there was no other option and the operation should be done as soon as possible before her mother gets stomach cancer. The operation was expected to take 4 hours if there were complications. General anaesthetic would be involved hence the anaesthesiologist's approval would be needed to confirm whether her mother can proceed with the operation. The risk during GA (as she would be under induced paralysis) was it would affect certain organs. The risk of the gastrectomy operation was leaking, bleeding and infections. They were reluctant to proceed with the operation even though the doctor was pressing them to. It was a stressful time and it was during Christmas period.

Meanwhile, they went for a second opinion at UMMC 3 days later. He would do another scope scheduled for 5 Jan 2017.
During those 3 weeks before the scope, to boost her immune system and prepare her body for the operation if needed, she consumed 20 capsules Yung Kien Ganoderma + 5 sachets Yung Kien Pollen + 6 sachets Jia Hor Soya Protein + 9 sachets Lactoberry everyday, divided into several times a day. She felt very energetic and had better bowel movements. Her skin was also more radiant.

On 22 Dec 2016, the Sg Buloh doctor confirmed she still had H. Pylori bacteria.
But when she went to UMMC for the scope on 5 Jan 2017, no more H. Pylori could be detected. The intestinal metaplasia was still there, but this time, the doctor said no operation was needed, only yearly scope to monitor the situation. Ms Y was very grateful that her mother was willing to take at that high dosage and thus was able to avoid the risk of operation.

Testimony: Gastric and Bloated Stomach

Ms F, 26 years old, works as a coffee barista. She takes breakfast everyday before work because she knows that the nature of her work which requires her to drink 6-10 cups of espresso every day (to check that the flavour is up to requirement), is very harmful to her stomach. As she was not able to eat lunch during lunch hour, after 4-5 years of such lifestyle, she started to suffer from gastric and bloated stomach problem. Her stomach either bloats up after just swallowing a bit of food or she would feel discomfort from the bloating and thus has no appetite to eat. As such, she would end up not eating anything the whole day.

She didn't take any medication. Her friend introduced her to start taking 6 sachets Jia Hor Soya Protein + 6 sachets Lactoberry + 4 sachets Yung Kien Pollen a day. She takes the Protein before meal hours, around 11-12 am, then 3-4 pm and again before sleep (or next morning before drinking her espresso). As for Pollen, she takes it any time. She feels very good, energetic, no more bloated stomach and gastric, and she has radiant skin. When she gets gastric attacks, she would take 2 sachets Protein with 200 ml warm water. 15 minutes later, she feels release from the gastric pain.

Since April 2017, she started to include 6 capsules Jia Hor Lingzhi in her routine.
Vertigo reaction: Bloated stomach and vomiting. She could not go to work and was curled up in bed. She mix 30 ml warm water + 1 Protein + 2-4 Lingzhi, shake and drank immediately. She felt relief after 10 minutes. She kept taking Lactoberry, every hour. Even though she had no appetite for the whole day, she still felt energetic. On the next day she was well enough to go to work already.

Testimony: Constipation and Healing Reaction

A 7-year old girl in Sabah used to take a very long time to finish her meal. She would run around between mouthfuls, sometimes dragging the meal times to an hour. She suffers from bloated stomach (which made her drag out her mealtimes) and constipation problem.
When she was first introduced to Lactoberry, she had a healing reaction. Her mouth and body broke out into rashes after taking only 1 sachet. She had diarrhoea and passed out sticky, smelly stools.
The reason is her colon was full of bad bacteria due to her prolonged constipation. This resulted in stomach bloatedness and lack of appetite. Testimony: Milk Poisoning

Mr P drank milk that was spoilt. The next morning, he had diarrhoea. So he quickly took 3 Lactoberry at 8 am then went to work. Usually after diarrhoea, one would feel very weak. But he didn't even though he had diarrhoea 3 times. He still had energy and could still work. Fortunately, it was Saturday where he worked only half day. Testimony: Constipation

Ms M's friend, from Miri, is the mother of a little boy who has very weak body constitution. Since birth, he already has a lot of health issues, including constipation. He would sit on the potty for 3-4 hours but nothing would come out. That caused great discomfort and pain in his stomach. He had to take antibiotics every week because of fever. The whole family was extra anxious about him as he is the only male grandchild in the family.

Testimony: Burst Blood Vessel in the Eye

Your liver is the largest internal organ in your body and performs thousands of functions to keep you going. These are some of the Signals you will notice when your liver starts crying for help:

- Dark spots on your face.

- Yellowing of the white of eyes (jaundice).

- Ascites (water retention in belly area).

- First pee in the morning is brownish in colour.

- Fingernails or toenails look dull, change colour, thicken, become brittle, have uneven surface or become loose.

How to Protect Liver Functions?

1. Lifestyle - have sufficient sleep, do regular exercise, relax your mind and reduce stress.

2. Maintain healthy weight. Obesity can cause the liver to work harder, increasing the risk of fatty liver.

3. Avoid unnecessary blood transfusion, injection, ear piercings, tattoos and sharing of toothbrush and shaver with others.

4. Avoid contact with blood-contaminated equipment or sharing cutleries to reduce the risk of contracting hepatitis B and C as these virus are spread via blood and body fluids.

5. Balanced diet. For a speedier weight loss, eat only low-sugar, high protein and low carb food. Unbalanced diet increases burden on the liver.

6. Food hygiene. Don't drink unboiled water or eat raw seafood as seashells can cause hepatitis A infections.

7. Avoid overeating, alcohol, smoking and processed food.

8. Three acupuncture points for nourishing the liver:

a) Tai chong point (indentation between 1st and 2nd toes).

b) Da dun point (inner part of big toe).

c) San yin jiao point (4 fingers above knob at inner ankle).

Testimonies

These 3 testimonies are extracted from "Healthy Ganoderma" Magazine issue 88, which is a quarterly publication by the Microbiological Research Foundation of Taiwan.

Case 1

Mr Shi Mingde is a hepatitis B carrier. He first detected a benign growth in his liver in year 2000, when he was donating blood. He had a relapse in liver cancer in 2006 and then in 2012. When he came to know about Lingzhi in 2012, he started consuming 9 sachets a day. He did not experience any healing reactions during this period. His liver function index became normal. When he was 78 years old, he could even go for a 34-day tour of 6 countries.

Case 2

In 2011, Mr Chen Yingsheng experienced these symptoms: edema of the feet, gets tired easily, ascites in belly, eyes are a little yellowish, feels drowsy but poor sleep quality and dizziness after waking up. His GPT and GOT readings are normal, but his liver heparin is high at 4.1 mg/dL (normal 0-1.3 mg/dL), and AFP (tumour marker) is very high 170 ng/mL (normal reading for Asians <20 ng/mL). Doctor informed him there is no medicine that can cure him. As his sister-in-law took Lingzhi for her liver problem, he followed suit. 3 months later, his AFP value became normal.

In 2015, he had a recurrence of fulminant hepatitis. The doctor advised that liver transplant is the only way. He started consuming high dose of Lingzhi. After 10 over days, his condition improved. He continued taking Lingzhi until to-date. He didn't need to undergo liver transplant. His blood pressure and blood lipids are normal.

Case 3

Mr Pan Xinhong is a hepatitis B carrier and has hereditary low platelet count. In April 2008, he suffered from severe sepsis caused by acute hepatitis which requires liver transplant. Just overnight, his liver bulged out, he had very severe ascites and his limbs were showing edema. He cannot eat nor urinate. While waiting for liver transplant, he consumed high dose of Lingzhi and Pollen. 8 months later, his liver function improved to a level that resulted in him not being eligible for health insurance if were to undergo liver transplant operation. It would cost him NTD2 million if he proceeded on his own.

in 2014, he was readmitted to hospital for 12 days due to complications arising from liver cirrhosis. The diagnosis states that he has cirrhosis with variceal bleeding, ulcerative colitis, gastrointestinal bleeding and urinary tract infection. He consumed high dose of Lingzhi and Pollen. He improved his daily routine. He also took Jia Hor Protein, Jia Hor Fiber and CEO Coffee. He took more veges and reduced red meat. He stopped working night shift. His liver functions has returned to normal, and his platelet index has also improved.

Ms Cheng then proceeded to explain in a clear and easy-to-understand manner each of the 3 Systems, what are the symptoms and what are the common diseases associated when there is excess or deficiency, over-reaction or repressed performance. She also used the analogy of an Iceberg - we are usually treated on the 10% of the problems that we can see. But the issues can only be fully resolved when we become aware of the 90% that is hidden. This was how she found a solution to her dry eyes problem.

She also highlights various professors' and experts' perspectives, wherein their scientific research results are published in Taiwan's Ganoderma Magazine, which demonstrates clearly that Lingzhi can be effectively used to handle diseases stemming from all the 3 Systems.

Finally she recommended the ideal combination of Lingzhi to take, regardless whether you want to maintain your health or trying to improve your health problems.

In July 2022, Shuang Hor launched the most cutting-edge product of the series, YKC, which is designed for cancer diseases. 

This article focuses on the technical proof of how YKC complements conventional cancer treatments and how YKC protects the brain neurons.

Background - Process Flow of Basic Lingzhi

Prior to the launch of Target Lingzhi, Shuang Hor has in its stable a series of products called Basic Lingzhi, which are produced using Lingzhi fruit bodies. The fruit bodies are harvested and then put through these processes in the factory:

- Drying - Crushing - Extraction - Concentration

- Purification (for Yung Kien Ganoderma 2)

- Rapid vacuum freeze-drying - Capsuling and packaging.

From this process, Shuang Hor is already able to obtain many active constituents, including over 300 types of ganoderic acids (under the umbrella of Triterpenoids) and over 100 types of high-molecular Polysaccharides. The Basic Lingzhi is already able to do an excellent job to protect our health. 

Process Flow of Target Lingzhi

Now, Target Lingzhi is even more advanced, as compared to Basic Lingzhi.

Target Lingzhi is also produced using Lingzhi fruit bodies; but the breakthrough of the process is the addition of another component done using a technique called mycelium fermentation. This gives Target Lingzhi a higher concentration and purification of Ganoderic Acid. 

In the past, only Polysaccharide could be extracted from mycelium. It is only with this fermentation technique that Shuang Hor is now able to extract a high concentration of Ganoderic Acid (a sub-constituent of Triterpenoid).

So, the processes in the factory are slightly different:

- Fruit body plus mycelium fermentation

- Drying - Extraction - Concentration

- Separation and Purification

- Rapid vacuum freeze-drying - Packaging.

In other words, Shuang Hor is able to produce this high efficacy product to be used as supplementary treatment for cancer due to:

(a) the technique of doing mycelium fermentation.

(b) the technology of obtaining high quantity of anti-cancer substances through a concentration and purification process to get Ganoderic acid T, S and Ganodermic acid S. If you refer to technical papers in PubMed, you will know these components are very important in cancer treatments.

What is the Difference in the quantity of Ganoderic Acid in Basic Lingzhi as compared to YKC?

(a) Basic Lingzhi products contain about 1% Ganoderic Acid T + 99% other active components.

(b) YKC contains 95-98% Ganoderic Acid T + up to 5% other active components.

In other words, 

(i) The high concentration and purification process results in YKC having higher quantity of active constituents targeted for cancer treatment.

(ii) Cancer patients only need to consume a smaller dose but achieve greater efficacy and better results.

Functions of YKC

1. YKC is used for cancer treatment:

> Effective against all kinds of cancer.

> Taken together with chemo treatments to ease the side effects.

> Facilitates the effectiveness of medication.

2. YKC modulates and balances brain neurons which helps people to have better sleep.

3. YKC is effective for brain diseases. This is achievable because the ganoderic acid have very small molecular structure which can pass through the Blood Brain Barrier (BBB), into the brain tissues.

What is Blood Brain Barrier (BBB)?

Our body can be easily infected by bacteria or virus. But because of the importance of our brain, there is a special system called BBB that shields the brain from harmful substances in the blood. Thus, the bacteria and virus are filtered by BBB from affecting the brain cells. The is a very good function, but unfortunately, it also prevents drugs from entering the brain. That's why certain chemo treatments are not effective to treat brain cancer.

The good news is, as the molecules of YKC's ganoderic acid are very small, they are able to pass through the BBB and have a good effect on brain diseases.

How Cancer Starts, Grows and Spreads

Cancer cells are mutation of normal body cells. After mutation, our body can't control them anymore. They multiply haphazardly, up to the stage where they affect our major organs, form tumours and kill us.

Testimony: Osteoporosis Since Teenager

Ms I, 39, had osteoporosis since she was 15 years old. The score from her bone density x-ray was -3, which was very bad for a young person of her age. Doctor gave her Fosamax drug (which is usually only meant to be taken by the elderly). The side effects include stomach ulcer and cancer. She took the medication for 7 years. Her results grew from -3 to -1.8 (yearly increase of approximately -0.15). Doctor then stopped her medication since 2014 due to the side effects. There was no more medication prescribed.
Since she came to know about Shuang Hor products in 2018, she started taking Lingzhi + Jia Hor Soya Protein + Yung Kien Pollen + 1-2 capsules Jia Hor Calcium per day.
After a gap of about 4 years, she went for another bone density x-ray and found the reading has improved to -1.2, meaning that Shuang Hor products has given better results than from doctor's medication, but without the side effects.

Testimony: Back Pain

Ms E is 46 years old now. In 2009, when she was 36, she had a very bad car accident. But she didn't really bother and still proceeded with hill climbing the next day. Subsequently, she had constant needle-like pain for about 2 years but she ignored it. She could not carry heavy things. It affected her work as she was working in a kindergarten and she could not carry the children. She only went for physiotherapy (which cost her RM800) and the consultation with a chiropractor cost her another RM800. She was consuming Shuang Hor products but she was not consistent.

In 2011, when she just "had a slight sneeze", it affected her back so much that she couldn't walk with a straight back. She suspected it inflamed her nerves. The doctor whom she consulted advised her to do a cold pad treatment which costs RM3,000.

Instead, she decided to take 3 days leave and consumed the following:
Day 1 - she consumed 3 sachets Vitaking + 12 capsules Yung Kien Ganoderma + 12 capsules Yung Kien Pollen + 6 sachets Luchun Tea each time. She finished 1 box Yung Kien Twinpack that day. She didn't take much solid food, only soup and vegetables.
She was sweating and she felt feverish. She could not walk. She mainly slept but it was difficult as she felt needle-like pain whichever way she turned.

Day 2 - she took the same dosage.
She could walk on the stairs already but was still limping.

Day 3 - she took the same dosage again.
She could walk like normal by then, her energy level was normal, her body felt light and her face looked radiant.

All in, she took 2 boxes Vitaking, 2 boxes Yung Kien Twinpack and 1 box Luchun Tea to handle her problem.

Testimony: Neck Pain

Ms LC thinks that she probably sprained her neck one morning when she got out of bed. She could hardly turn her neck. It was very painful. She took 2 Vitaking in the morning and 2 in the evening.
She felt the reduction in pain quite quickly.
On day 2, she took another 4 Vitaking. Just like that, she was pretty much recovered.

Testimony: Severe Knee Injury from Sports

Ms W said she injured her knee while playing badminton back in 2009. She did not take care of the injury properly and only went to see doctor after 1 year. By then, the kneecap had cracked and she had to undergo a major operation. She was on physio and crutches for 6 months. But after that, even though it was not fully recovered, she went ahead with strenuous physical activities and from the mis-use, her knee was swollen and painful everyday. She used ice to reduce the pain.
In 2013, she came to know about Shuang Hor products and took 2 sachets Vitaking / day. Over 3 months, her pain visibly reduced.
In 2014, she wore a wrong pair of shoes during her vacation and her knee was swollen after the vacation. The injury somehow pulled the muscle on her back, shoulder and head, leading to her suffering from severe headache everyday. Eventually she took 1 YK2 + 8 YK1 + 1 Vitaking, all mixed in 100 ml hot water. After 30 minutes, the pain subsided.
She continued with her consumption of Vitaking and her knee was protected.

Testimony: Sprain Both Ankles

One evening, I mis-stepped while walking down the stairs of a restaurant. I fell and sprained both my ankles. There was a sharp pain but I could walk to my car and quickly drove home. I immediately poured 2 sachets Vitaking into a mug of hot-warm water and drank it. About 2-3 hours later, I repeated the dose. The initial massive swelling went down a little. I did not apply any ointment or take anything else. The whole area was warm, sore and tender to the touch. I went to sleep, fearing I won't be able to walk at all the next day as both ankles were sprained.

The next morning, as expected, the inflammation got worse. I could barely put any weight on my left foot. I was wincing in pain. Thankfully the right ankle was slightly better. I had great difficulty walking down the stairs. I limped to the kitchen and had another 2 sachets Vitaking. 3 hours later I had another 1 sachet. Then 2 hours after that, I took another 1 sachet. The pain gradually eased. At night I took another 2 sachets.

The pain subsided so much that the next day, I recklessly overused them - I walked over 5,500 steps. Few days after that, I went to the gym. I continued with 4 sachets/day for 1 week then reduced to 2 sachets/day in the second week. I could walk, stand for hours and walk up stairs without problem except there was soreness when I walked down stairs. Due to all my activities, recovery took longer. But I am grateful that I do not need to curb my daily activities during this period.

We can say that the lungs has the first contact with the external environment. It is the first doorway for pathogens to enter our body because as we breath in, the air goes straight to the lungs.

Common diseases related to respiratory system:

(a) Asthma, where the airways narrow and swell, making breathing difficult, and trigger coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath. Common asthma attack triggers include inhaling smoke, cold air, GERD and stress. It's a type of auto-immune disorder where the Th2 becomes hyperactive.

(b) Pneumonia, which is lung inflammation caused by bacterial or viral infection. The air sacs in the lungs (alveoli) are filled with fluid or pus. X-rays show affected area as white spots (called pulmonary infiltrates).

Pulmonary edema occurs when alveoli fill up with excess fluid (often caused by congestive heart failure).

(c) Bronchitis, which is inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes, caused by viral or bacterial infection, or breathing in things that irritate the lungs.

When you experience breathing difficulty, deep breathing exercise help. Especially when you travel to cold countries, you may experience constrictions to your lungs if you are not used to the temperature change. The inhalation of such cold air may cause your WBC activity (immune system) to suddenly drop (as they function optimally at 37'C). Hence if there's germs in the air, you can easily get infected.

A suggestion for pneumonia cases:

(i) Take at least 15 YK1 or 4 YK2, open up the capsules, pour the powder into warm water and sip slowly. Let the Lingzhi powder stick on the oesophagus.
After 2-3 minutes, drink down the residual from the cup.

(ii) Calmly sit down and take deep breaths for 10 mins.

(iii) If still not able to breath well, put 3 Lactoberry into the throat without drinking any water.
After 3-5 mins, drink room temp water.

(iv) Heat therapy - use the hairdryer to blow at the meridian points between nipples and just below the neck for 5-10 mins. It raises your body temp back to 37'C, and your immune system is able to perform again.

A suggestion for bronchitis cases:
