If you consistently don't drink enough water, it reflects on your skin making it look parched and dehydrated. You may also get kidney stones. Consume at least 2 liters of water a day, more if you sweat a lot or do a lot of physical activities.

4. Don't consume too much processed foods, fast foods and junk foods
These types of food contains a lot of preservatives, artificial flavouring and colouring, which are harmful to your body in the long run.
5. Stop smoking
The physical effects of long-term smoking are stained teeth and fine lines around the mouth. Smoking narrows the blood vessels, which reduces the amount of oxygen and nutrient supply to the skin. This promotes formation of wrinkles on the whole face. Connective fibres such as elastin and collagen are also damaged by smoking, causing permanent wrinkles.
6. Don't consume alcohol excessively
Alcohol dehydrates your skin and depletes it of vital nutrients, making it look dull. You may get spider veins, which are the appearance of find reddish veins due to permanent blood vessel dilation caused by regular heavy drinking.

8. Manage your stress level
