During my 5th visit to Doublecrane Lingzhi Biotechnology Park (greenhouse farm) in Tainan, Taiwan, we were first shown a short video prior to the guided site visit. Below is a transcript and screenshots of the video.
Lingzhi has been termed as a top medicine and can promote longevity and consolidate body base. The Doublecrane group is a global leader in Lingzhi biotechnology, and has been focused on Lingzhi researches to explore the medical efficacies of Lingzhi for more than 30 years.

We choose to establish the Doublecrane Lingzhi Biotechnology Park in the Baihe region of Tainan because of the region's pleasant weather and fresh air. The amicable environment allows for the best Lingzhi to be harvested. Spanning over 5 hectares, the Park is home to the world's first Lingzhi incubation center. With an Experimental Greenhouse and 12 computer-controlled greenhouses, Doublecrane is able to supply the global Lingzhi market with premium raw materials.

The 2 biggest difficulties in Lingzhi research are species R&D and cultivation management. Out of the over 200 species of Lingzhi in the world, fewer than 20 can be used as raw materials. In other words, the strain is the key to determine the efficacy of Lingzhi.
Furthermore, R&D, reproduction and cultivation of various species, are core to Lingzhi biotechnology. After many years of reproduction and R&D, as well as DNA analysis, medium testing and experimental greenhouse cultivation, we have selected strains with the most potential to cultivate in our greenhouses.
By observing different stages of growth, and through many trials and errors, we have identified the best conditions for Lingzhi growth. These results are used as important indicators in Lingzhi mass cultivation. This is also a very important step in the quality control of the Lingzhi spawn.

After strains have been chosen, the next step is to set up the proposal for mass production. First of all, every step of the inoculation process must be completely bacteria-free to avoid contamination.
